Graffiti art - Terrigal

Picture
The Gosford Graffiti Art Project (The GAP) is a community building initiative aimed to create tolerance and understanding between young people and the greater community.

The GAP employs artists to create graffiti and street art murals in graffiti hotspots in Gosford City.  GAP artists mentor young people in the negotiation with business owners in mural design with a community focus as well as developing their painting skills.

The GAP is funded by the NSW Dept of Family and Community Services and managed by the Gosford Narara Neighbourhood Centre.

The GAP will be creating a mural on the Terrigal Esplanade for the 5 Lands Walk and invites all young people aged between 13 and 18 years of age to have a paint on the day.  Parental permission is required and all participants must wear supplied respirators and adhere to Good OH&S practice.

Make sure you come and see them at work at Terrigal. This stuff is really clever.
