Under the mantra - “connecting people to people and people to place” – the 5 Lands walk allows the students of the 5 Lands to experience and participate in artistic, cultural and spiritual events.

In 2019 we have 10 schools participating in the 5 Lands photographic workshops. These include: Copacabana PS, Avoca Beach PS, Kincumber PS, Empire Bay PS, Pretty Beach PS, Ettalong PS, Woy Woy South PS, Terrigal PS, Woodport PS and Umina Beach PS.

Thirty students from each school are given a whole day workshop on photography allowing them to develop their skills, knowledge and understanding of photography. One photograph by each student will be displayed at Copacabana Beach Surf Club throughout the weekend of the 5 Lands Walk. A number of students from each school will receive an achievement award for their efforts throughout the workshops.

Kincumber HS, Terrigal HS and The Haven Educational Centre will showcase their student’s artistic talents at an exhibition to be held in the Copacabana Surf Club throughout the weekend of the 5 lands walk.

Schools also participate in events at each of the lands throughout the walk culminating in a combined school choir at Terrigal at the conclusion of the walk. Students from Central Coast Grammar volunteer to each land by providing support and assistance to each land and the walkers.

The 5 Lands Walk is the perfect event for schools and their students to become a part of their local community.
