Without our fantastic volunteers there would be no 5 Lands Walk. They are all committed to offering you a unique event that helps you connect to people and place.

Our volunteers provide the creativity, commitment, skills, cultural experience and manpower to design, operate and perform in this major event. Over 700 people contributed their time and skills in 2023. This ranged from pre-schoolers , through to artists, performers and makers from the Aboriginal and broader communities of the 5 Lands, to school kids doing song and dance, diverse communities offering a taste of their cultures, high school kids providing marshalling and shuttle bus services, artists curating exhibitions both in and outdoors, and business people providing operational, marketing and accounting support.

There's a huge amount of work done, for free, by a lot of people. And we thank each and every one of them.

Volunteer with Us!

5 Lands Walk is 100% volunteer run.
It takes 700 volunteers to make the walk happen each year.

We are always excited to welcome anyone wanting to volunteer with the 5 Lands Walk team.

There are all sorts of roles we will be looking to fill for our 2024 & 2025 events. Many roles are in the long lead-up to the event, others are to help out two weeks prior to the day and on the day itself.
