Art Along the Coast:
Creativity Meets Community at the
5 Lands Walk
Every year, the 5 Lands Walk transforms the stunning Central Coast shoreline into more than just a scenic journey — it becomes a vibrant, living canvas. Stretching across five iconic beaches from Macmasters Beach to Terrigal, this much-loved community event celebrates not only movement and wellbeing, but also the power of art, creativity, and cultural expression.
As the event marks its 20th Anniversary in 2026, art continues to play an integral role in shaping the atmosphere, storytelling, and identity of the Walk.
A Creative Gallery by the Sea
On event day, the coastline comes alive with artistic energy. From live performances and installations to spontaneous creativity, the Walk becomes a creative gallery where participants are both audience and contributor.
You might encounter:
Local musicians creating a coastal soundtrack
Visual artists capturing the spirit of the day
Community groups sharing creative displays and storytelling
Cultural art forms that honour connection to Country
Art is not confined to a stage or a wall — it exists all along the track, woven into the experience of the 20,000+ people who take part each year.
