Karimbian is a five-piece band from the Central Coast, blending folk and rock with driving rhythms and beautiful harmonies. Led by Karim on acoustic guitar and vocals, alongside Heather’s soaring voice, the band features bass, drums, and electric guitar, creating a dynamic soundscape that moves effortlessly between high-energy crescendos and mellow, intimate moments.

With an innate awareness of each other’s playing styles, Karimbian thrives on their ability to shift gears in an instant, delivering performances that are both electrifying and deeply emotive.

The band recently recorded their debut EP, Sleeping on Waves, at the renowned Grove Studios. Their first single, Struggle, quickly gained radio play on Coast FM, setting the stage for their next chapter.

Currently playing local gigs while refining their sound and writing new material, Karimbian is gearing up to officially launch their EP with a series of shows spanning Newcastle to Sydney. Rooted in the coastal village of Copacabana, the band draws inspiration from their surroundings - whether it’s backyard jams with friends, rehearsing just down the road from Albo’s new place, or simply soaking in the rhythm of the ocean.

Their music is driven by a passion to stir emotions, pull on heartstrings, and get people moving.
